September Wine Box

Six bottles from Hungary and Austria – six different styles for the last days of summer and the beginning of autumn.

This September selection stays close to home, bringing together three Hungarian and three Austrian wines that show just how diverse natural winemaking in the region can be. From gently sparkling pét-nat through mineral white and skin-contact Grüner Veltliner to rosé, a juicy light red and a deeper, vibrant red, the box moves through a wide spectrum of styles.

Hummel – Bubbel Bee Pét Nat 2024
A floral, citrusy and playful pét-nat from Villány, made from Hárslevelű, Traminer and Királyleányka. Soft bubbles, a gently leesy character and effortless drinkability.

Kolónia52 – Furmint 2023
Precise and mineral Furmint grown on volcanic soils. Citrus peel, green apple and stony notes meet vibrant acidity and a long, clean finish.

Kollektiv Peternell – Broatl Racing Grün 2021
A distinctive Grüner Veltliner sitting somewhere between white and orange wine. Citrus peel, tea, herbs and white pepper with gentle tannins and a salty, earthy depth.

Christian Tschida – Himmel auf Erden Rosé 2025
A precise and structured rosé made from 100% Blaufränkisch. Floral spice, layered fruit and pronounced minerality – light on its feet, yet surprisingly intense and textured.

Barnag – Dzsúz NV
Blaufränkisch and Cabernet come together in a juicy, light red somewhere between rosé and red wine. Low tannins, vibrant acidity, fresh fruit and an energetic, Mediterranean character.

Schrammel 2.0 – Alternativ Red 2021
A juicy yet deep blend of Rösler and Merlot, balancing darker fruit with soft texture, vibrant freshness and a subtle salty edge.
