Heart Sounds Red 2024

A fresh, juicy and forest-fruited red from Somló, made by Tomcsányi from a blend of Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Syrah.

The three varieties ferment together, allowing the bright acidity of Blaufränkisch, the softer fruit of Merlot and the spicier character of Syrah to come together naturally. One year of aging in amphora brings fine texture, depth and a calmer structure, without weighing the wine down or hiding its crunchy fruit. Forest berries, sour cherry, plum, gentle spice and a subtle earthy note appear with barely-there tannins and a fresh, juicy finish. A true “fruity juice” red, and excellent slightly chilled.

Bottled unfiltered, unfined and without added sulphur.
