A powerful, vibrant and deeply tuned Syrah from Christian Tschida, grown in organically farmed vineyards in Burgenland.

One year of aging in used Stockinger barrels brings calm depth, fine tannins and subtle saline complexity, while the wine’s freshness and natural energy remain at the centre. Black berries, black pepper, dried herbs, smoky-spicy nuances and stony minerality unfold with lively acidity and a long, taut finish. The wine is dense and intense, yet never heavy: its concentration is held throughout by movement and clean structure.

Felsen II. is Syrah in a very distinctive Tschida style: wild in energy, yet elegant, strongly characterful but never excessive.

Bottled unfiltered, unfined and without added sulphur.
