A mature, deep yet still vivid Portugieser from Hummel, grown in organically farmed vineyards in Villány.

Frost shows an older, quieter and more complex side of Portugieser, without losing the freshness and drinkability that make the variety so compelling. Three years of aging in old barrels shapes a layered and harmonious character: it gently rounds the tannins, adds depth and earthy-spicy nuances, while keeping the wine from feeling heavy. Sour cherry, dried plum, forest herbs, a touch of tobacco, forest floor and fine earthy notes unfold with a silky structure and a long, calm finish.

Rustic and elegant at once, mature in tone but still energetic. Decanting is recommended, giving the wine time to open slowly and reveal its deeper layers.

Made unfined, unfiltered and without added sulphur.
