Graphin 2021
A deeply textured, skin-fermented Sauvignon Blanc from biodynamically cultivated vineyards in southern Styria.
The limestone-rich Opok soil balances the aromatic tension of Sauvignon Blanc with the depth and roundness from extended skin contact. A portion of the grapes are destemmed, and the wine spends two to four weeks on skins, followed by nearly two years of aging in large neutral oak barrels. Despite the long maceration, the wine does not become overly tannic—it remains vibrant and precise, with layers of ripe citrus, peach skin, herbs, smoke, and earthy minerality, crystalline acidity, and a long, salty finish. Structured and deeply characterful, yet energetic and beautifully balanced.
Bottled unfiltered, unfined, and with no added sulfites.
