Juhfark 2023

A crisp, mineral, and deep-character Juhfark from the Tomcsányi Estate, from the volcanic soils of Somló.

The grapes from the 10-year-old clay-basalt vineyard are pressed directly, then the wine spends 12 months in barrels, which gives it a fine texture and structure without diminishing the varietal's vibrant, salty-mineral character. Citrus, grapefruit, green herbs, mint, and stony notes appear, with crisp acidity and a long, clean finish. A true Somló Juhfark: lean, energetic, and very true to its terroir.

Bottled unfiltered, unfined, and without added sulfur.
