Morillon Hochegg 2021

A balanced and characterful Morillon orange wine from Schnabel, combining freshness, minerality and a beautifully structured palate.

The longer period of skin contact brings fine spice, gentle tannin and a more defined structure, while preserving the apple, citrus and subtly nutty character of Morillon. Aging in old barrels gives the wine a calmer and more integrated expression: it rounds the palate, adds depth and allows the salty-mineral finish to unfold. Serious in tone, yet still lively and highly drinkable, this is an orange wine where texture, freshness and site character move together beautifully.

Made unfined, unfiltered and without added sulphur.
