6 special bottles from 6 Hungarian producers.

For November, we've put together an entirely Hungarian selection to celebrate the diversity and creativity of the country's natural wine scene.

From fresh, fruit-driven whites and gently skin-contact wines to expressive reds, this box brings together a wide range of styles. Alongside the wines, we've also included something a little different: a naturally sparkling cider fermented in amphora.

Six independent producers, different regions, grape varieties and winemaking approaches – each bottle offering a different perspective on Hungary's exciting natural wine scene.

Inside the box:

Gittinger – Almageddon 2025
A naturally sparkling cider made from organic Goldrush apples, spontaneously fermented in amphora. Bright, fresh orchard fruit, delicate bubbles and a lively structure. Unfiltered and bottled without added sulphites.

Barnag – Furmint NV
A blend of two contrasting vintages, the cooler 2022 and the hot, dry 2024, beautifully complementing each other. One brings freshness and tension, the other richer, riper aromas. An expressive, barrel-aged Furmint with vibrant energy, complexity and a distinctive mineral character.

Hummel – Bumblebee 2023
A blend of Welschriesling, Királyleányka and Chardonnay with five days of skin fermentation. Somewhere between white and orange wine, with citrus, gentle spice, lovely depth and a generous mouthfeel.

Levente – Rontás 2021
An expressive white made from 50-year-old Leányka vines in Mátra. Ripe pear, citrus, white flowers and a fresh mineral finish.

Tomcsányi – Szívhangok Red 2024
A blend of Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Syrah from Somló, aged for a year in amphora. Juicy forest berries, sour cherry, delicate spice and soft tannins.

Kolónia 52 – Bleu de Hongrie 2024
A layered yet vibrant Blaufränkisch, aged for 18 months in large oak barrels. Bright fruit, subtle spice, earthy depth and an elegant structure.

A selection for anyone curious about the many faces of Hungarian natural wine – and for those already familiar with the scene who are always happy to discover something new.
