A layered, elegant and deeply tuned Portugieser from Hummel, grown in organically farmed vineyards in Villány.

Perro shows the more refined and serious side of Portugieser: the variety’s juicy red fruit meets longer aging, quiet depth and a beautifully integrated structure. Three years of aging in used Burgundy barriques brings complexity, fine spice and rounded tannins, while the wine keeps its freshness, inner energy and transparent fruit. Sour cherry, plum, ripe red berries, dried herbs, a gentle earthy note and subtle barrel spice unfold in the glass.

Long, calm and elegant on the finish, this is a wine where concentration appears not as heaviness, but as proportion and depth. Decanting is recommended, giving the wine time to open slowly and reveal its deeper layers.

Bottled unfiltered, unfined and without added sulphur.
