Pinot Noir Koregg 2021

An elegant and finely structured Pinot Noir from Schnabel, grown in biodynamically farmed vineyards in Styria.

Two weeks of maceration after destemming bring fine tannins, depth and subtle earthy-spicy layers, while preserving the airy fruit and lively acidity of Pinot Noir. Aging in used barrels shapes a calmer, more integrated character: it rounds the structure, gives space to sour cherry, forest berry, herbal and delicate forest floor notes, and never overwhelms the variety’s transparent elegance. Long, silky and saline-mineral on the finish, this is a red wine that feels both serious and beautifully tuned.

Bottled unfiltered, unfined and without added sulphur.
