Heart sounds white 2023

A taut, mineral and beautifully layered white wine from Somló, made by Tomcsányi from a blend of Furmint, Welschriesling, Juhfark and Hárslevelű.

The grapes come from the volcanic soils of Somló, giving the wine a salty-stony character, lively acidity and a firm backbone. It is directly pressed, then aged for two years in used barrels, gaining depth, fine texture and a calmer structure while keeping its fresh, mineral energy intact. Citrus, apple, herbs and subtle honeyed notes unfold into a long, clean, volcanic finish. It feels light on its feet, yet opens slowly and with real complexity.

Bottled unfiltered, unfined and without added sulphur.
