A deeply characterful and rare Chardonnay from Christian Tschida, grown in organically farmed vineyards in Burgenland. Single vineyard, single barrel.

One year of aging in used Stockinger barrels brings calm depth, fine texture and a subtle saline complexity, while keeping the vineyard character clean and precise at the centre. Citrus peel, stone fruit, herbs, wet stone and a delicate smoky nuance unfold with lively acidity and a long mineral finish. Taut and floating at once, concentrated yet free-moving, with a beautifully drawn structure.

This is that hard-to-define yet unmistakable Tschida style: purity, energy, quiet depth and singular elegance all at once. 

Bottled unfiltered, unfined and without added sulphur.
