A Portugieser of depth, calm and exceptional finesse from Hummel, grown in organically farmed vineyards in Villány.

Gelassenheit shows a rare and serious side of Portugieser: rather than relying on the variety’s easy charm, it elevates its transparent fruit, delicate spice and sensitive structure into something far more profound. Two years of aging in used Burgundy barriques brings depth, silky texture and a quiet saline complexity, while the wine keeps its inner energy and freshness. Juicy red berries, sour cherry, dried herbs, fine earthy spice and subtle forest-floor nuances unfold with soft, beautifully integrated tannins.

Long, elegant and very pure on the finish, this is a wine where power appears not as weight, but as calm concentration.

Bottled unfiltered, unfined and without added sulphur.
