Vespri sparkling 2024

A fresh and energetic pét-nat from old Vespaiola vines grown on the volcanic hills of Veneto.

Native to the area around Breganze, Vespaiola develops a particularly taut, saline and energetic character in the volcanic soils rich in basalt, iron and silica. The hand-harvested grapes spend a short period on the skins before spontaneous fermentation, followed by a second fermentation in the bottle using Vespaiola must from the same vintage. Fine bubbles carry notes of lemon peel, green apple, white flowers and a delicate almond character, supported by vibrant acidity and a fresh, saline finish. Light, precise and remarkably drinkable.

Bottled unfiltered, unfined and with no added sulphur.
