A mineral, deep and slowly unfolding Grüner Veltliner from Milan Nestarec, sourced from 50-year-old vines in Moravia.

Foot-treading and two days of skin contact bring fine texture, gentle tannin and a salty grip, before the wine spends three years in a large used Stockinger barrel. This long aging builds subtle oxidative nuances, calm depth and complexity, while preserving freshness, drive and stony tension. Dried citrus, tea, dried herbs, apple skin and wet stone notes slowly unfold in the glass.

A more serious, meditative Nestarec wine that rewards time: with air, it becomes increasingly saline, layered and long.

Bottled unfiltered, unfined and with only 3 mg/l of added sulphur.
